International Association for Refugees – Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya

Kakuma is one of the largest and most diverse refugee camps in the world. It houses 180,000 refugees from some of the hardest places in the world – South Sudan, DR Congo, Somalia, and other countries. International Association for Refugees is a Christian ministry that supports local church initiatives in worship, education, shelter, hygiene, and evangelism.

National’s support this year will enable IAFR to give scholarships to girls from some of its supported churches who are going into secondary school and improve construction for churches and Christian ministries active in the camp. IAFR’s director, Tom Albinson, will visit National in the summer. Please pray for an end to conflict in these refugees’ homes, and for hope in this life and the life to come.
