Women's Ministry

Women's Retreat

Joyful in Hope

"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." (Romans 12:12)

Women’s ministry at National gathers women of all ages and life stages to help them grow more deeply in their relationship to Jesus Christ and commitment to serve one another, the church, and the larger community. Join us this year as we explore the theme of "Hope" through Bible studies, small groups, gatherings and events.

Afternoon TEA

Meeting dates: January 17; February 21; March 21; April 18; May 16

12:45p.m. in Elson Parlor

Come for Teaching, Encouragement, and Adoration each third Wednesday afternoon this school year. MOMS Group

Second and Fourth Wednesdays, 1011:30 a.m., Room 107

Moms meet for a time of fellowship and meaningful discussion during an otherwise busy day of raising children in this fast-paced city. We strive to encourage each other through meaningful conversations on faith and life, along with a healthy dose of fun and laughter. This Fall we will find Hope for the Weary Soul through reading “Let. It. Go.” by Karen Ehmen. Complimentary childcare is offered, but feel free to bring your baby along with you. Contact: Melanie Lenhard.

Wednesday Women

First Wednesday of the month, 10:30 a.m.–12 p.m., Church Room 105

Our monthly gathering begins with prayer, followed by a study and discussion and then service through our card ministry. This year we will look at the study “Hope, Your Heart’s Deepest Longings.” Come learn from God’s word and each other in a warm and inviting space. Books will be distributed prior to the meeting or in class. Contact: Lynne Gochnour.

Women’s Bible Study: "God with Us"

Saturdays beginning January 6, 9:30–11 a.m.

Church Room 105  |  Leaders: Sandy Sharpe and Barbara Mitchell

This study will show how the hoped for Messiah (Jesus) is revealed in the wilderness Tabernacle. Designed by God, the Tabernacle, gives us a greater appreciation of God’s unending desire to dwell in our midst, help us understand God's plan of redemption, and allow us to better understand our call to live "holy unto Him."
