Read through the Bible

We have the gift of God’s Word—inspired by God, preserved by the Holy Spirit and interpreted by the Reformed tradition—to help us understand God’s plan, our Savior Jesus Christ, human nature, and how to live. Studying God’s Word—the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments—is a vital part of the Christian life. These guides  read through Scripture daily:

Read the Bible in a Year

Read the New Testament in a Year

Read the Bible's "Top 100"

Read the Bible's "Top 100" essential passages in 20 weeks – get to know the main themes of the Old and New Testaments. There are a variety of resources available to help you follow this plan: you can pick up a guide at the church information table, you can listen to the readings here (daily readings using the Contemporary English Version of the Bible feature a variety of different voices), and you can purchase an additional concise study resource at the church bookstore.

Daily Bible Readings

Daily Bible Readings are also available on the PC(USA) website and in our weekly bulletin

In addition to reading the Bible individually, there are many ways to study the Bible in a small group, or a class.
