Care, Prayer, Dare

July 7 - September 1

Let’s commit together to Care, Prayer, and Dare on September 1!

  • Care: Donate a toy for children at Walter Reed Hospital
  • Prayer: We’ll come together in prayerful worship on September 1 at 10:00 am
  • Dare: Take the care challenge! We’ll commit to acts of Christian love in ways small or large.

Join us for hands-on activities, lemonade, and cookies on the lawn after the 10:00 am service on September 1, outside on the upper plaza.

Military Ministry Toy Drive

This summer the Military Ministry will be collecting toys for children hospitalized at Walter Reed Military Medical Center.

Children are transferred to Walter Reed from around the country, and the Red Cross collects toys to help make their hospital stays less traumatizing. This year, they’ve asked us to help in their Toy Drive; the list of requested toys is below. All toys must be new, and can be brought to the church beginning on July 7. There will be marked boxes outside the sanctuary and downstairs near Stone Fellowship Hall. We will complete our collection on Sunday, September 1!
