Serving at Home: You can still make a difference!
During this time of social distancing, all of our on-campus activities have been put on hold. We are looking forward to resuming them! Until then, we want to give you opportunities to grow closer to God and continue to serve with our stay-at-home options.
Everyone National can continue to help our mission partners through prayer. Please use our 31 day Mission Prayer Calendar to pray for our partners and God’s work through them.
We encourage those who are able to prepare Covid-19 Care Packages to drop off for the local Salvation Army. Some mission partners such as Martha’s Table are active in essential services and are still in need of volunteers. Check partners’ websites to find up-to-date needs and restrictions.
Take a look at the video below to see our July, 2020 food drive, benefitting our mission partner, Central Union Mission!
Our Mission
There are many ways for you to serve the city! God has called us to:
- proclaim Jesus as Lord and Savior,
- care for the vulnerable, and
- build up the church.
You can do these every day, and participate in events at National from monthly sandwich making for the homeless, to supporting missions as you celebrate Christmas. In addition, download a copy of our Mission Prayer Calendar to pray each day for our mission partners in DC and around the world.
