Rev. Dan McNerney will be preaching on July 26, during both services!
McNerney is the executive director of Encountering the Logos Ministry and is an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church USA. He and his wife, Sharon, live in Winnetka, IL, and are the proud parents of five children and four grandchildren.
Encountering the Logos Ministry (ELM) is a parachurch organization, started in 2022 to address the needs for greater Biblical literacy and spiritual growth in our country today. Dan teaches and preaches from a world of ministry experiences having recently completed 30 years of serving the global church as associate director for Frontier Fellowship.
Currently, Dan is leading in-person Bible studies for individuals in the Chicago area in addition to his far-reaching online Bible studies, seminars, and retreats. Dan is a graduate of Yale University and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. In his first career, he was an agricultural commodities trader for Cargill Inc in Minneapolis, MN before he was called into full-time ministry in 1983. He spent two years working as a missionary in Costa Rica before attending seminary. He later served the Winnetka Presbyterian Church as an assistant pastor before starting his work with Frontier Fellowship. Learn more about his story,
