Music At National
NPC Presents: Handel's Messiah
Sunday, December 11, 2022 at 5:00 pm
Every Sunday at National we make music for the Lord and for each other in response to God’s marvelous grace. National’s traditional worship services feature a full choir, classic hymns, and masterful organ and other instrumental music. Our contemporary service includes upbeat praise singing, as well as traditional hymns.
We would love to join our voices with yours as we praise God together.
Choirs & Music Groups
Chancel Choir leads worship on Sunday mornings from September to June, sings in evening services during Advent and Lent, and prepares special performances during the Christmas and Easter seasons. Led by Director of Music Ministries Dr. Michael Denham, they rehearse regularly on Wednesday evenings.

Festival Choir is a seasonal opportunity focused on large choral masterpieces such as Handel’s beloved Messiah. Singers from the church as well as the larger community are invited to attend three or four Saturday rehearsals in preparation for these major performances.

Summer Choir leads worship in June, July, and August and rehearses only on Sunday mornings prior to the worship services. For those who love to sing but are unable to rehearse on Wednesday evenings, Summer Choir welcomes you!
Grace Chimes, NPC’s handbell ensemble, is open to adults and youth. Led by Music Ministries Assistant Carolann Haley, they rehearse weekly. Ringing on five octaves of bells and chimes, they participate in worship several times yearly, and ring in festivals, weddings, concerts and other special events.
Contemporary Praise Team
Contemporary Praise Team is directed by Joanna Zorack-Green and is made up of adults and youth who lead our contemporary Sunday worship service.
Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, singing and making melody to the Lord in your hearts.
