Justice, Service and Faith: A Fireside Chat with a Federal Judge

On January 26 all adults will meet in Stone Fellowship Hall at 9:45 am, and online, for our large group gathering.

NPC Deacon Lydia Griggsby will share about her life as it has led to her current work serving as a federal judge, and how it relates to her faith in Christ.

 

Lydia Kay Griggsby has served as a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland since July 2021. She is a former Judge of the United States Court of Federal Claims and Chief Counsel for Private and Information Policy for the Senate Judiciary Committee. Lydia is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (B.A.) and Georgetown University Law Center (J.D.) Prior to her federal judicial service, she was a trial attorney and Assistant U.S. Attorney in the District of Columbia as well as Counsel for the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Ethics and Privacy Counsel for the Senate Committee on the Judiciary. She is a member of National Presbyterian Church and serves as a Deacon.
