Join us to make a real difference in our city as we collect and organize nonperishable food and gently used winter clothing for those suffering from the realities of hunger, food insecurity, and the approaching cold weather.
Bring your family, a friend, a neighbor, a colleague or your small group and join us as we serve our community. Sign up with this form. If you have questions, please contact Jonathan at jedwards@nationalpres.org.
You can still participate if you cannot help with the collection on September 21!
- Bring nonperishable food donations and new or gently used clothing to the big brown bins inside the main entrance on the Sundays before September 21.
- Bring your donations to the drive-thru area in the main parking lot behind Stone Hall on Saturday September 21.
- Bring donations to the Admin Building between 9 am and 5 pm weekdays in September.
Here’s a list of needed items. You may also shop online and have your donations delivered using our Amazon wish list.
Central Union Mission serves hurting people throughout our city and surrounding areas—homeless men, families living in poverty and underserved neighborhoods. Needs have skyrocketed due to the rise of inflation and the consequences of the pandemic.
University of the District of Columbia Food Pantry has the mission of leading the fight on campus against student food insecurities.
