Fall Six-Week Small Groups
Prayer, Compassion, and the healing power of Christ: In a world filled with suffering, sickness, and brokenness, Jesus calls his Church to reflect his compassion and power—but how? Jesus heals the sick, and James urges believers to pray for them, showing that Scripture clearly reveals God’s deep care for both physical and spiritual restoration. Yet, in an age of medical breakthroughs and spiritual confusion, many Christians wrestle with how to trust God’s healing power while facing ongoing pain. This series, Prayer, Compassion, and the Healing Power of Christ, grounds our understanding of healing in the Gospel and explores how the Church can faithfully intercede, serve, and hope in the midst of suffering. Whether God brings miraculous relief or strengthens us through trials, the Lord promises a Kingdom where He wipes away every tear. Over these six weeks, we will encourage NPC to pray with boldness, love with practical mercy, and find hope in the resurrection—because the Church does not just offer answers; through specific practices, we walk together toward Jesus, the Great Healer. – Pastor Ray Hylton, Sr.
Small group Bible studies will explore the challenges of trusting God’s healing power in our lives. Together we will learn how to step into deeper service, intercessory prayer, and hope in Jesus.
