A cry for healing
Join us at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary or online for our Ash Wednesday service.
Psalm 6 offers a heartfelt expression for those enduring pain and disappointment. While it doesn’t explicitly confess sin, the psalmist suggests that their current struggles may be linked to a sense of divine disapproval. This insight serves as a reminder of the importance of reflection in our spiritual journeys.
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season, a time for reflection, repentance, and spiritual growth leading up to Easter.
Our service will include scripture readings, prayers, and the imposition of ashes. We will also receive Communion as a sign of our unity with Christ and with one another.
We hope you will join us as we embark on this journey together and that this Lenten season will bring you deeper spiritual growth and a closer relationship with God. May God bless you on this Ash Wednesday and throughout the Lenten season.
If you cannot attend in person, please visit our Watch page to worship online.
