Christianity is a “text-based religion.” As a result, a believer’s relationship with God is remarkably literary. Presbyterians accentuate the literary character of our faith by the great authority that we grant to the Bible. This presentation focuses on the importance that Christians attach to the scriptures, from the earliest centuries into the present.
