Re-gathering Volunteers Needed
Step one to re-gathering is to recruit and train volunteers to help with the Audio Visual team and to act as greeters, guides and ushers. Please click the button below if you are interested in helping out in this way. We will be in contact!
Serve at Home: You can still make a difference!
During this time of social distancing, all of our on-campus activities have been put on hold. We are looking forward to resuming them! Until then, we want to give you opportunities to grow closer to God and continue to serve with our stay-at-home options.
Everyone National can continue to help our mission partners through prayer. Please use our 31 day Mission Prayer Calendar to pray for our partners and God’s work through them.
We encourage those who are able to prepare Covid-19 Care Packages to drop off for the local Salvation Army. Some mission partners such as Martha’s Table are active in essential services and are still in need of volunteers. Check partners’ websites to find up-to-date needs and restrictions.
Finally, in this online era, we have some new opportunites to serve. Click below to see!
Volunteer right here!
Each week it takes a village to pitch in and make ministry happen at National. We need volunteers for upfront tasks like reading Scripture in worship, ushering, and teaching. And there are lots of quiet, behind-the-scenes tasks ranging from working in the church library to baking for special events.
There are also people in our congregation who would be blessed by even a small act of caring on your part---elderly members who need rides to church, visitors you could make feel at home with a smile and a handshake.
However you use your gifts in God’s service, you’ll get to know people and grow spiritually as you serve.
